- Large Group Packages: from $1050 for up to 24 people. Fixed-price packages for groups of 20 to 72.

### Is there a minimum age for axe throwing?

### How long is a session?
A standard axe-throwing session runs for 60 minutes, with extra time included for larger groups. Sessions run for 80 minutes with 7–9 players and 100 minutes with 10–12 players. We also offer two hour packages for larger groups.Your session includes a safety briefing, introductory coaching and unlimited throws during your booked time.

### Do I need any experience?
Not at all! Most of our visitors are first-time throwers. Every session begins with a safety briefing, throwing demonstration and guided practice to help you get started. Axe throwing is more about technique than strength, and our interactive games give everyone a chance to compete.

### Do I need to book? Can I walk in?

### Is axe throwing safe?
Safety is our priority. Every session starts with a safety briefing, throwing demonstration and practice with one of our trained coaches. Our private lanes are separated from one another, and all participants must follow our safety rules and staff instructions throughout their session.

### What are digital targets?
At Axxe, you're still throwing real axes at real wooden targets, but with an interactive twist! ### Do we get our own lane?
Absolutely! Every booking includes a private lane, so you'll only be throwing with your own group. Each lane has two targets, allowing two people to throw at the same time.Lanes accommodate up to 12 people, and larger groups can book multiple lanes side by side.

### How many throws do we get?
Unlimited! Once you've completed your safety briefing and coaching, you can throw as much as you like during your session. Run a tournament, try different game modes or simply practise your aim. It's up to you!

### Do you have a smash room?
Yes! Our sister brand [Breakr](https://breakr.com.au/) has 2 smash rooms located inside Axxe in Fyshwick. ### How many people can you accommodate?
Axxe can host groups of up to 72 people across 6 private lanes, with up to 12 throwers per lane. Our lanes are side by side, so larger groups can still mingle, chat and cheer each other on throughout their session.

### Do you offer special pricing for large groups and events?
Absolutely! We offer fixed-price group packages for larger bookings, starting from $1,050 for up to 24 people. ### What if we're not sure of final numbers?
No problem! Small changes are usually fine, but if your numbers change significantly, please contact us as soon as possible.For multi-lane bookings, a minimum of six people per lane generally applies. Our large-group packages have fixed prices, so the amount payable doesn't automatically decrease if fewer people attend.If you need to add or remove lanes, we'll do our best to adjust your booking, subject to availability and booking conditions. Often, yes! We offer frequent booking times online, including sessions for larger groups. ### Can people come just to watch?
Of course! A small number of spectators is welcome, so friends and family can watch, cheer everyone on and enjoy the atmosphere.Anyone who decides to throw will need to be added to the booking. Spectators aren't permitted inside the Breakr smash rooms.

### What should I wear?
Closed-toe shoes are compulsory for axe throwing, so no thongs, sandals or open-toe footwear. Otherwise, just wear something comfortable that lets you move freely and lift your arms above your head.If you're organising a group, make sure everyone knows about the footwear requirements before arriving!

### Can we drink alcohol? Is Axxe licensed?
Axxe is an alcohol-free venue, and all participants must be sober to throw. Alcohol cannot be brought onto the premises, and anyone under the influence won't be permitted to participate.Our suggestion? Start with axe throwing, then head out for drinks and the rest of your celebrations afterwards.

### Can we bring food or a birthday cake?
Absolutely! You're welcome to bring your own food, snacks, birthday cake or organise catering. Just let us know beforehand so we can plan accordingly.We also have snacks and soft drinks available for purchase. A $10 per lane cleaning fee applies to bookings bringing catering.

### Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. Everyone participating in axe throwing must complete a waiver before their session.You can sign it when you arrive. Your waiver also connects you to our scoring system, so you can access your scores and game history after your session.

### What if we're running late?

### Can I bring my own axe?
No. We provide all the axes and equipment you'll need for your session. For safety reasons, personal axes, knives and other throwing tools aren't permitted.

### Is Axxe accessible?
Yes! Our venue and axe throwing activities are wheelchair accessible. ### How do deposits and payments work?
Most bookings require a deposit to secure your session, with the remaining balance paid when you arrive. The deposit amount depends on your booking, and you'll see exactly what's required before confirming online.

### Can I change or cancel my booking?
Plans change! We offer refunds or free rescheduling with more than 7 days' notice. Between 48 hours and 7 days before your session, you can reschedule for free, subject to availability, but refunds aren't available.With less than 48 hours' notice, your deposit may be forfeited.Please contact us as soon as possible if your plans change.
