Monday Madness Rules

Monday Madness Rules and Structure:

Welcome to Monday Madness at Axxe, a competitive and fun axe throwing league!

1. Participant Recommendation:

1.1: Monday Madness is not recommended for first-time axe throwers. We suggest having experience in a Public Lane, Private Lane, or Combo session at Axxe, as the same level of coaching available in normal sessions is not provided during this event.

1.2: Participation is flexible, no regular commitment necessary. However, you'll get more out of it the more you attend.

1.3: This is mainly a social event for fun, but the league structures are in place for those seeking to be a little more competitive.

1.4: This event is open to everyone aged 14 and over. Players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

2. Registration:

2.1: Registration and payment is required online, via the axxe website, at least 15 minutes before the event.

2.2: Walk-ins may not be accommodated.

2.3: No promotions or discounts apply to Monday Madness. Gift vouchers accepted.

2.4: Players are required to register their participation each week. For ongoing registration please call or email.

3. Points System & Scoring:

3.1: Standing Points - Points are awarded based on nightly placement (1st place: +10 points, 2nd place: +9 points, down to 1 point for 10th place).

3.2: Attendance Points - All participants receive 5 points for attending each event.

3.3: All participants will be required to assist with scoring matches.

3.4: Scores are tallied after each night, with total scores determining the leaderboard.

4. Equipment:

4.1: Players must use equipment provided by Axxe.

5. Sportsmanship and Conduct:

5.1: Positive sportsmanship and a supportive environment are essential.

5.2: Players should engage in the Axxe Handshake (lightly clink axes) before and after each match.

5.3: Antisocial behavior is not tolerated. Staff reserve the right to refuse participation.

6. Skill Level and Coaching:

6.1: Monday Madness is open to various skill levels, but with less emphasis on coaching. Coaches will be available for general guidance.

6.2: Collaborative Skill Building: While we encourage players to support each other in improving their axe throwing skills, please be respectful and avoid offering unsolicited advice. We recommend starting with "Can I give you a throwing tip?" and wait for a postive response.

7. General Rules & Disputes:

7.1: Standard Axxe Canberra rules apply.

7.2: In case of disputes, the Axxe Coach's decision is final.

7.3: Axxe Safety Waiver will need to be completed for each visit.
