Arrive & learn
Arrive a little early to sign your waivers and get everyone ready. We'll run through the safety briefing, demonstrate how to throw and give everyone some practice.

Challenge the bride, run a tournament or take on our interactive minigames. Mix things up however you like — the bride gets first pick, obviously!

Questions, Answered
How long is a session?
A standard axe-throwing session runs for 60 minutes, with extra time included for larger groups. Sessions run for 80 minutes with 7–9 players and 100 minutes with 10–12 players. We also offer two hour packages for larger groups.
Your session includes a safety briefing, introductory coaching and unlimited throws during your booked time.
Do I need any experience?
Do we get our own lane?
Absolutely! Every booking includes a private lane, so you'll only be throwing with your own group. Each lane has two targets, allowing two people to throw at the same time.
Lanes accommodate up to 12 people, and larger groups can book multiple lanes side by side.
Do you have a smash room?
Yes! Our sister brand Breakr has 2 smash rooms located inside Axxe in Fyshwick. Suit up and smash 30 breakables each using bats, hammers and crowbars.
You can book a standalone smash room session or combine it with axe throwing in our Axxe + Smash Combo.
How many people can you accommodate?
What if we're not sure of final numbers?
No problem! Small changes are usually fine, but if your numbers change significantly, please contact us as soon as possible.
For multi-lane bookings, a minimum of six people per lane generally applies. Our large-group packages have fixed prices, so the amount payable doesn't automatically decrease if fewer people attend.
If you need to add or remove lanes, we'll do our best to adjust your booking, subject to availability and booking conditions. Additional fees may apply.
Can people come just to watch?
Of course! A small number of spectators is welcome, so friends and family can watch, cheer everyone on and enjoy the atmosphere.
Anyone who decides to throw will need to be added to the booking. Spectators aren't permitted inside the Breakr smash rooms.
